A solar cell, or photovoltaic cell (PV), is a device that converts light into electric current using the photoelectric effect. PV cells convert sunlight into electricity by an energy conversion process. A typical PV system consists of:
• Solar Panel whose function is to convert sunlight into electricity.
• Charge controllers which regulate and protect both the load and battery.
• Deep Cycle batteries which acts as energy bank
• Inverters that converts the DC power to AC power.
